Our office is tucked away in Viman Nagar, specifically at Sakore Nagar. We are Fourth Dimension Architect Pvt. Ltd., and we share space at C/O Prashant Deshpande in Sarthak Appt, room 401. It’s a residential building, so it feels very quiet and relaxed compared to the big commercial towers downtown. You can hear the planes taking off and landing since the airport is so close. Sometimes it makes the windows rattle a bit. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of paper. Prashant is usually around, making sure things stay on track. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing with suits or strict schedules. Most of us just show up in comfortable clothes and get to work on whatever project is on the screen that day. The balcony has a few plants that we forget to water sometimes. Viman Nagar is a nice place to be, with plenty of cafes nearby when we need to step out for a breather. We spend a lot of time double-checking dimensions and making sure the site reports match what we have on paper. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy enough. It’s just us doing our thing in a corner of Pune that we’ve grown quite fond of over the years. No big frills, just steady work. We keep the kettle going and try to stay on top of the pile of blueprints. It’s a simple and focused environment.
