Out here in the Chakan Industrial Area, things move pretty fast. Our factory is at A-4 in the MIDC section, right in Mahalunge. Flash Electronics has been part of this landscape for a long time. It’s dusty and noisy outside, with trucks constantly moving parts back and forth. Inside our walls, we’re mostly focused on electronic components. The assembly lines are usually busy from early morning. We have a lot of people working in shifts to keep up with the demand. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of machines clicking and people moving bins of parts. Sometimes the power flickers, and we have to wait for the generators to kick in, which is just part of working in an industrial zone like this. We eat our lunch in the small breakroom, and the talk is usually about the commute or the heat. The building has seen a lot of wear over the seasons. We have some old posters on the walls and a lot of filing cabinets that have been there forever. It’s a practical setup. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because the work happens on the floor, not in the office. It’s hard work, and by the end of the week, everyone is pretty tired. But we’ve got a good rhythm going, and the trucks keep showing up at the loading dock every day without fail.
