This branch is located on Sinhagad Road in Pune, specifically in the Raikar Nagar area. We are on the fourth floor of Ujwal Terraces in the Saidham building. It’s a busy part of town and we see a lot of people coming in to drop off packages. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of exercise if the lift is busy. We handle all the local sorting and shipping tasks that come through this part of Pune. There are scanners everywhere and the sound of tape being pulled is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We have a small crew working here to make sure every box has the right label. Sometimes the traffic on Sinhagad Road makes it tough for the vans to get in and out, but we manage the timing as best as we can. It’s a lot of standing and moving around, not just sitting at a desk. We get all sorts of items, from small envelopes to huge crates. Most of us have been working here long enough to know the regular customers who come in every week. We don't have any fancy office furniture, just what we need to get the parcels out the door. It’s a fast-paced environment but we try to keep a sense of humor about it. It’s just how we do things here in Pune.
