Fedex DHL

We are located right on Fergusson College Road near S V Road and it’s always a bit hectic around here with all the students passing by. Our shop isn't very big, mostly just a front counter and a lot of cardboard boxes stacked up in the back corner. We spend most of our mornings sorting out envelopes and checking the weight on the old scale we have. Sometimes the tape rolls get stuck or the computer takes its time to start up in the morning, but that’s just part of the day. People come in looking to send stuff all over and we just help them fill out the forms. The street noise from S V Road comes right through the door since we keep it open for air. There’s always a bit of dust on the shelves from the traffic outside. We don’t have any fancy chairs, just a couple of stools for when things get quiet. Most of the time we are just busy taping up boxes or helping someone find the right sized envelope for their papers. It’s a straightforward job really. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we started at this spot. If you’re walking down Fergusson College Road you’ll probably see our Fedex DHL sign. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons but we have a small fan that helps. We usually have a stack of newspapers on the counter to read during lunch. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep at the end of the shift.
