We are based over in Vadgaon Budruk, which is a part of Pune that has grown a lot lately. Our office is on the second floor of Shanti Prestige, specifically flat number nine. Deepak Hulyalkar is usually around here. Being on the Pune Sinhagad Road means there is a lot of traffic. You get used to the sound of vehicles passing by all day long. It’s a busy area with a lot of people living and working nearby. The building is a typical Pune apartment block used for business. We don’t have a big reception area or anything flashy. It’s mostly just a workspace where we keep track of things. We deal with transport equipment and parts, so there’s always something to check on. The work can be a bit repetitive, but it’s important. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the orders are right and the logistics are moving along. Sometimes the monsoon makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but that’s just life in Pune. We drink a lot of tea and stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a straightforward way of working. No one here is looking for awards. We just want to finish the day’s work and head back to our families. It’s a local operation with local people. We have been here at Shanti Prestige for a while now and we know the neighbors. If you are looking for us, we are just past the main junction on Sinhagad Road.
