Expandable Polystryrene Machinery E.P.L

You can find us at EL 39/6 in the Electronic Zone of MIDC Bhosari. It’s a very industrial part of town, so the surroundings are mostly other warehouses and workshops. Our place is where we put together the machinery used for making polystyrene. It’s a big, open space because the machines we work on are quite large. There’s always a bit of white foam dust on the floor, no matter how often we sweep it up. We have a bunch of heavy-duty tools and benches where we assemble the different parts. The noise can be a bit much when we are testing a new unit, so we use earplugs sometimes. The office part is just a small partitioned area in the corner with a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet that sticks when you try to open it. We don't have a fancy website or anything; most people just know us from being in the zone for so long. The day usually starts with a quick meeting on the shop floor to see what’s on the schedule. We deal with a lot of metal pipes and electrical components. It’s messy work, and our clothes usually end up with a few stains by the end of the day. We’ve got a small fridge for cold water, which is a lifesaver in the summer months. It’s a long day, but we prefer staying busy out here in the shop.
