Essar

Our office for Essar is in Pune, over on Paud Road. We are in Kothrud, which is a pretty busy part of town with lots of shops. Specifically, we are in Building Number 3 of the Anandnagar Park Society. Our unit is Flat Number 19. If you know Pune, you know that Kothrud has a lot of traffic and activity. There is always something going on outside on the street. We have a modest setup inside the flat. It’s not a big corporate space with fancy lights or glass walls. We just have our tables, some chairs, and our computers. It gets the job done for us. We’ve been in this society for a while now. The building is okay, and the neighbors are mostly families who have lived here for years. We try not to make too much noise during the day. Usually, we are just typing away or talking on the phone with people. Sometimes we go down to the local stalls on Paud Road to get some vada pav or tea in the afternoon. It’s a nice break from looking at the screen. The flat is on an upper floor so we get a bit of a breeze if we leave the balcony door open. We don't have any big mission statements on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home when we are finished. It is a practical place for us.
