We are over at Shriram Apts on 889 Bhandarkar Road. This part of Deccan Gymkhana is always moving. We are right opposite the Pyc Grounds, so if there is a match or some practice going on, the whole area gets pretty crowded. Pune 411004 is home for Essar Steel Ltd. here. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular place where we get our work done. Most mornings, the tea stalls nearby are the first thing we see before heading into the building. The traffic on Bhandarkar Road can be a real headache in the evenings, but being centrally located has its points. We have been in this apartment block for a good bit of time now. You’ll find us easily if you just look for the gates across from the sports ground. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, but that’s just how things go in this city. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks, papers, and the sound of fans. We don’t have fancy lobby areas or anything like that. People know us as Essar Steel Ltd. and they know where to find us. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we handle. We like the neighborhood because you can walk to get lunch or find a hardware store without having to drive across town. It’s just a normal office for normal work.
