Our workshop is over in the Kasher Building on the fourth floor, units 401 and 402. We are situated in Dhore Nagar within the Somwar Peth area. If you’ve been to this part of town, you know it’s got a lot of history and can be quite crowded during the day. Being on the fourth floor means we have to use the lift quite a bit, especially when we are moving paper and materials around. The machines take up a lot of the space, and there is always that smell of ink and paper in the air. It’s not a quiet place by any means, especially when everything is running at once. We’ve been in these two units for quite some time, and it feels like home to us now. The walls are covered with samples of things we’ve worked on over the years. We don't have a fancy showroom; visitors usually just walk straight into the middle of the workspace. It’s messy sometimes, with offcuts on the floor and stacks of boxes waiting to be picked up by the couriers. We drink a lot of chai and just keep our heads down to get the orders finished on time. The sun hits the windows in the afternoon and makes it quite warm, but we have the fans going. It’s just a regular local business where we know our neighbors and work hard every day to keep things moving along for everyone involved.
