Elevation & Architecture

Our spot in Chinchwad 18 is pretty straightforward. Elevation & Architecture is tucked away where things are usually busy with people moving around outside. The office isn't much to look at from the street, just a door and a small window. Inside, we’ve got these long tables piled high with rolls of paper and half-empty coffee mugs. It gets hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, so the fan is always humming in the background. We spend a lot of time just looking at sketches and making small changes. Sometimes we disagree on how a staircase should look and it takes all morning to figure it out. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in and out over the years. We don’t really do much decorating. Most of the wall space is covered in calendars or old project maps. Chinchwad 18 has its own rhythm and we’ve become part of that. You can hear the traffic from the main road if you listen closely, but mostly it’s just us talking or the sound of the keyboard. We like it this way. It’s just a place where we come to get the work done. No big presentations or flashy stuff, just us and the drawing tools. It feels like home after all this time. If the lights are on late at night, it’s probably because we’re trying to finish a drawing for the next day or just lost track of time.
