If you come out to Velu in Bhor District, you’ll find us at Plot No. 22 near Gate 682. It’s a lot quieter out here than it is in the city, which is nice in some ways, but it makes getting parts delivered a real headache sometimes. The building is pretty basic, just a big open space where we do all the assembly work. We have a few long tables set up with soldering irons and some testing gear. Most of the people working here live in the nearby villages, so they walk or take the local bus to the gate. There’s a big tree outside where everyone sits during lunch to get some shade from the sun. Inside, we mostly deal with standard electronic components for various gadgets. Sometimes the humidity makes things tricky, so we have to be careful with how we store the boards in the back room. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception desk to greet people. If someone stops by, they usually just walk right into the work area and find whoever isn't busy. We spend a lot of time checking the connections and making sure the wires are tucked in properly. It’s slow, methodical work that requires a lot of patience. When the sun starts to go down over the hills, we start packing up the day's work into wooden crates. It’s a long day, but getting something done feels okay. We walk back to the village together.
