Ek Nayi Koshish Foundation

Ek Nayi Koshish Foundation is based out of a row house, number 16 to be exact, in the Dharam Jivan CHS. This is in Sector-3B of Airoli, New Mumbai, and we are quite close to Meghe College. Having our office in a row house makes it feel very welcoming and less like a stiff place of business. We have a small front area where we sometimes sit when the weather is nice. Inside, the rooms have been converted into workspaces with desks and shelves for our files. Since the college is nearby, there are always students walking past and a lot of energy in the area. We are a small team, so everyone knows exactly what everyone else is working on. There isn't much hierarchy here; we all just pitch in where needed. We handle our own chores, like making tea or tidying up the desks at the end of the day. It’s a very local way of operating. We don't use complicated software or have expensive branding. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to be helpful to anyone who reaches out. The neighborhood is friendly, and we’ve become a familiar sight to the people living in Dharam Jivan. It’s a simple setup in a good part of New Mumbai, and it suits our needs perfectly without being overly complicated. Most evenings we finish up and walk to the local station together.
