Ecorea Foundation

We spend a lot of time out here in MIDC Ranjangaon. It is a bit of a trek to get to H-1 in Phase II, especially when the traffic on the highway is backed up with those big cargo trucks. The area in Tal Shirur is pretty industrial, so there is always some noise from the nearby plants and a fair amount of dust in the air. Our office for Ecorea Foundation is a simple setup. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby, just a door and some desks where we keep track of things. The weather gets really dry out here during the summer months, and the walk from the parking area can be a bit of a sweat. Most of the people working around here are from the local villages or commute from the city edges. We usually bring our own lunch because there aren't many places to eat besides the small stalls near the main gate. The building itself is sturdy and does the job. It’s quiet inside once the heavy machinery next door stops for the shift change. We handle the daily tasks as they come, mostly focusing on the paperwork and the logistics of the foundation. It isn't a glamorous spot, but it’s where we are based and where the work happens every day. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on, and the drive back is much quieter then. It's just a regular industrial unit where we keep things moving as best we can.
