Eaton Global Sourcing

Our office is in Pune, situated on Karve Road inside the Karishma Apartments. It is a well-known building in this part of the city, and we work out of unit A 4-302. Working from an apartment-style office is quite common around here, and it gives the place a bit of a homey feel. We handle global sourcing, which mostly means we spend our days on the phone with vendors and looking over part specifications. The traffic on Karve Road is almost always heavy, and you can hear the constant honking from the third floor. We have a small team, and most of us have been doing this for a long time. We spend hours comparing price lists and checking quality standards. It is not a flashy office at all. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and eat our lunch together. Sometimes we have samples of different metal components or plastic parts sitting on the tables. Because we deal with people in different time zones, our working hours can be a bit strange sometimes. Maharashtra is a huge hub for manufacturing, and being in Pune puts us right in the center of the action. We just try to find the right materials for the right price without too many headaches. It involves a lot of negotiation and checking of details. We like being in this part of town and the steady routine it brings.
