E. G. Kantawalla Pvt. Ltd. is located at Survey No. 28/1 in Damodar Nagar, Kharadi. This part of Kharadi has grown so much lately, but our spot in Damodar Nagar still feels like it has its own pace. The office isn’t in one of those shiny new tech parks; it’s a more grounded place that suits our style of working. We have a fair amount of space here, which is good because we tend to accumulate a lot of samples and paperwork over time. The morning starts with someone unlocking the main gate and the sound of the kettle starting up for the first round of tea. We don't have a lot of rules about how people dress or how they organize their desks, as long as the work is getting done. Sometimes the dust from the nearby construction gets into the office, but we just wipe it off and keep going. Most of the staff live nearby, so there is a real local feel to the place. We talk about the local weather and how the traffic is getting worse, just like everyone else does. It is a straightforward environment where we focus on our daily responsibilities. There is no corporate polish here, just a group of people who know their jobs well and get along with each other. We like the independence of being in our own building at Survey No. 28/1. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood.
