Duro Thermoplast & Moulding Products

Our shop, Duro Thermoplast & Moulding Products, is located in the Gultekdi area inside the Mandpeshwar Industrial Estate. You can find us on S V P Road at number 61. The estate is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it, filled with small workshops and a lot of noise from the machines. We spend most of our time dealing with plastic moulding and various products that come from that process. It is a very hands-on job, and the air always smells a bit like warm plastic. We have a few machines running most of the day, so it can get pretty hot inside during the summer months. There are about four of us here usually. We started this place because we knew the trade and wanted to do something for ourselves. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. Most people find us just by walking through the industrial estate or through word of mouth from other business owners nearby. The floor is often covered in small plastic offcuts that we have to sweep up every few hours. It’s just regular, hard work. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make the products, pack them into crates, and send them out. It’s been our daily routine for years now, and we’re quite comfortable with the grit and the pace of life here in Gultekdi. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, but that is how it goes.
