Our base is over in Woodland Society in Yerwada. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads, which we quite like. We spend most of our time out at different sites rather than sitting in the office. Waterproofing is the kind of work that keeps you on your toes, especially when the monsoon season is around the corner. We usually have buckets, brushes, and rolls of material piled up in our storage space. It’s a hands-on job, so we are often covered in some kind of sealant or dust. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people just call us or come by the society office to talk about their leaks or damp walls. It’s just a small crew of us. We’ve learned over the years that there are no shortcuts when it comes to stopping water. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the damage is deeper, and we just have to stay and finish it right. We don't use any big words to explain what we do. We just look at the problem and try to fix it so the inside stays dry. It’s honest work that keeps us busy throughout the year. We like being part of the Yerwada community and helping out our neighbors when their roofs start acting up. It’s a simple, hardworking life, and at Duck Back Waterproofing Co, we wouldn't have it any other way.
