Dts Logistics

Our setup at Mh-15-D-4810 is pretty basic, but it serves the purpose for Dts Logistics. It’s more of a functional spot than a place for showing off. We deal with trucks and moving stuff from one point to another, so there isn't much need for fancy decorations. Most of the time, the floor is a bit dirty from boots coming in and out, and there’s always a smell of diesel or old coffee in the air. We keep our logs and papers in big folders that are starting to fall apart at the edges. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine. We have a couple of desks that we found second-hand and a clock on the wall that runs five minutes fast, but we never bother to fix it. The work is mostly about timing and making sure the drivers know where they are going. We talk on the radio or the phone for most of the shift. Sometimes things go wrong, a truck breaks down or a road is closed, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s a lot of problem-solving without much thanks. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get the loads delivered so we can go home and eat dinner. It’s honest work, even if it’s tiring. We stay busy enough that the weeks seem to go by faster than they should. That’s just life here. We don't change much.
