DTDC Courier Services

Down at Chinchwad 23, things are always moving around. We handle the courier stuff for the folks around here. DTDC Courier Services has been in this spot for a bit. It’s mostly about scanning boxes and making sure they get on the right truck. The space is filled with piles of parcels and envelopes. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a big delivery comes in. We don't have any fancy talk. If you have a package, you bring it in, we weigh it, and you pay. That’s it. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, it can look a bit messy. The fans are always running because it gets warm with all the activity. We know the regular delivery guys pretty well now. We talk about the weather or the traffic while we load things up. It’s a repetitive job, but it’s important for people who need their items sent far away. We don't claim to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place in Chinchwad where you can send your mail. Most of the time, it’s just us and the sound of tape dispensers. We stay open late enough for people coming home from work. It’s a basic service, nothing more. We just want to make sure the boxes go where they are supposed to go. That’s how we spend our days at number 23. We keep some extra tape and bubble wrap around for when folks forget to pack things properly.
