The shop is located at Vihar Park, specifically Shop No 5, right on Mundhwa Rd. If you know Hadapsar, you know how loud the traffic gets out here near Magarpatta. We spend most of our day behind the counter weighing parcels and sticking those yellow and blue labels on everything. Dtdc Courier & Cargo Ltd is a big name, but this specific branch is just a small local spot. We have a lot of regulars who come in with documents or gifts for their relatives. The scanner acts up sometimes and the printer makes a weird noise, but we get the job done eventually. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, like checking pin codes and making sure the tape is secure so nothing falls out during transit. The space inside is a bit cramped because of all the bags waiting to be picked up by the evening van. Sometimes the van is late because of the Mundhwa traffic, and we just sit there watching the bikes go by. It isn't a high-speed environment inside the shop, even if the packages are supposed to move fast. We just take the items, give the receipt, and put them in the pile. It’s a simple routine that repeats six days a week. We don't have a lot of chairs, so mostly we are standing up and moving things around.
