Drushtikon Architects

Our place is at Shaniwar Peth 325. Drushtikon Architects has been operating from this address for a while. Shaniwar Peth is an old part of the city, and it has a lot of character, which we like. The office itself is in an older building. The stairs creak a bit, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and computers. We spend a lot of time looking at screens these days, though we still keep the old drafting boards for when we want to draw by hand. At 325, we are right in the middle of everything. It’s noisy outside with the shops and the people, but we’ve gotten used to it. Drushtikon Architects is a small setup. We don't have a secretary or a big lobby. If the door is open, you just walk in. We usually have some rolls of blueprints leaning against the wall. It’s a practical space for practical work. We deal with all sorts of building projects around the city. Sometimes we go out to sites and get our shoes muddy. It’s part of the job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to get the measurements right and make sure the structures are solid. That’s how we spend our weeks, drinking too much tea and looking at site plans until the sun goes down.
