Drdo

Drdo is based in Pune, at P 86/5 in the Type III section of Armament Colony. This is over in the Ganesh Khind area, which is pretty well known around here. The pin code is 411 007. It’s a bit of a trek to get into the colony if you don’t know the way, but once you’re in, it’s easy enough to spot. We’ve been in this particular building for a good while. It’s a standard residential-style office, nothing too fancy to look at. Inside, things are pretty lived-in. We have our desks set up and some old cupboards for all the files we’ve gathered over the years. Pune weather is usually nice, so we keep the windows open when it’s not raining too hard. The colony has a lot of trees, which makes it feel a bit calmer than the rest of the city. We aren’t a big operation with lots of staff. Just a few of us keeping things moving along. You won’t find any sleek glass walls or modern art here. It’s more about getting the job done. We’ve got a rhythm going now. Sometimes the mail takes a while to reach us because the colony is so big, but we get by. It’s a practical place to work, and we like being part of the Ganesh Khind community. Just a regular office doing regular work. We stay until the job is finished most evenings.
