Dragonfly Foundation

The Dragonfly Foundation is located in the Ambegaon area of Pune, specifically over in Morwadimanchar. We share space at Pravin Godse’s place. It’s a humble setup, but it works for what we need to do. Being in Pune means there’s always something happening, but we stay focused on our little corner of the world. We aren't some massive group with thousands of employees. We are just a small team trying to get things done without making a big fuss about it. Our daily routine involves a lot of talking to locals and figuring out where we can be useful. The 410503 area is where we grew up or where we’ve lived for a long time, so we care about what happens here. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We mostly use word of mouth and simple notes to stay organized. Sometimes the office gets a bit disorganized when we have a lot of projects going on at once, but we always manage to find what we need. It’s just how a real local foundation operates. We don't have a board of directors in suits. We have people who know the streets and the families living here. We try to be direct and honest with everyone we meet. If we can help, we say so. If we can't, we try to find someone who can. It’s pretty straightforward. No one here is looking for fame. We just want to do our bit and keep things moving.
