Dr. Gawhale'S Bone & Joint Care Clinic

Our clinic is located right opposite the Phursungi Kaman, in the Bhekrai Nagar area. It’s a part of Telco Colony in Phursungi, Tal Haveli. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s a practical setup, focused on bones and joints, which means we see a lot of people walking with canes or leaning on their family members. Dr. Gawhale is usually in the middle of a consultation, explaining how a knee works or looking at an old fracture. The waiting room has these chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they serve the purpose. We don’t have a lobby with magazines and music. It’s a quiet place where people come when they are hurting. The walls are a plain color, and we have charts showing the human skeleton hanging up. It’s not a fancy hospital, just a local clinic for the folks in Phursungi. We get people from the colony and the surrounding villages too. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. Dealing with joints takes time, so we don't rush through the appointments. We listen to the stories of how someone fell or why their back has been aching for years. It’s just the daily grind here, keeping the records straight and making sure the exam table is clean for the next person. Every day is a bit different but the work remains steady.
