Doshi Brothers

Doshi Brothers is located right on the ground floor of the Mancharam Building. We are over in Sadashiv Peth on Tilak Road, which is a really busy part of Pune. It’s right across from Lilavati High School. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in when they need something. We’ve been at 344 Charni Road for quite a long time. The office is a bit old-fashioned with heavy wooden desks and stacks of registers. We haven't really changed much over the years. We deal with various things, mostly stuff for local businesses. It gets quite loud with the school across the street and the traffic on Tilak Road, but you get used to it. Sometimes the shop feels a bit dark because it’s an older building, but we have enough lights. We don't have any fancy displays or anything. It’s just us, the inventory, and our old accounts books. We prefer doing things the old way, face to face. If someone needs something, they come in, we talk, and we figure it out. It’s a simple way of doing business. My brother and I have been running things here, and we know most of the people in the neighborhood by name now. It’s just a local shop in a busy part of town and we like it that way. Most days we are just here from morning till night.
