Diti Jewellery

You can find us inside Pune Central Mall at Boat Club Road. We are at Shop No 256, inside the Just In Vogue section. Diti Jewellery is where we keep our collection of pieces. Being in a mall means it’s always air-conditioned and bright, which is a change from the dusty streets outside. We spend our time helping people pick out something nice for a gift or a special occasion. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to customers. The mall gets really crowded on weekends, but weekdays are usually quieter. We have to keep the glass cases very clean because fingerprints show up easily. It’s a small space, so we have to be organized with our stock. We’ve been here in Shivaji Nagar for a bit now. The staff is just a couple of us who enjoy looking at pretty things all day. We don't have a big corporate back-story. We just like jewelry and helping people find what they like. Sometimes we have to deal with grumpy shoppers, but mostly people are in a good mood when they’re looking for jewelry. It’s a simple retail job in a busy part of town. Bund Garden is just nearby, so there’s always something happening in this area. We usually have our lunch in the mall food court or bring something from home. It's a nice place to work and the neighbors in the other shops are friendly enough.
