Dilip Vedepatil Foundation.

You can find us at Patil Palace over in Bavdhan Khurd. We are in the B Wing of the building on Ndapashan Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know the area. The foundation has been running out of this space at S No. 2/1 for some time now. It’s a decent building, nothing too over the top. We have a modest office where we handle all the day-to-day things. There are usually three or four of us here at any given time. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in. Bavdhan is a nice part of town, it’s grown a lot recently but our corner still feels familiar. The office inside Patil Palace is functional. We’ve got some old wooden furniture and a lot of binders filled with records. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or fancy coffee machines. We just drink regular tea from the stall nearby. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit heavy, but it’s not too bad once you're inside. We try to be helpful to anyone who reaches out to the foundation. It’s hard work sometimes but we enjoy being part of the local community here. We don’t really do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door in the B Wing. It’s a grounded place and we try to keep it that way for everyone.
