Dikshan Movement Foundation

The Dikshan Movement Foundation operates out of a flat in Pune. We are specifically at Urmila Society, Flat No. 1, which is part of the Chambers at S. No. 31 in Dhankawadi. It’s a local neighborhood and we’ve made this space our home for the foundation. The Ganesh area in Dhankawadi is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a massive corporate office, just a ground-level flat that serves our needs. Being in Pune, the weather changes a lot but the work stays the same. We have some desks set up and some files stacked around. It’s a lived-in space. People from the society know us. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, just doing our bit from this corner of S. No. 31. It gets a bit noisy when the kids play outside in the society, but we don't mind. It feels like being part of a real neighborhood. We chose Dhankawadi because it’s where we felt we could be useful. The address is easy to remember for those who live nearby. We don't use a lot of big words or have a polished presentation. It’s just us, the furniture, and the work that needs doing. Sometimes the flat feels a bit small when everyone is here at once, but we make it work somehow. It’s a practical place for a practical foundation. We just focus on the daily tasks.
