Dhwaraka Construction

Our office is tucked away in Shiv Colony on Wakad Road in the Thergaon area of Pune. It is a busy part of the city and there is always some new building going up nearby. We are a construction firm so our place is usually full of maps, site photos, and bits of material samples. It is not the cleanest office in the world because we are always coming and going from construction sites with dusty boots. We have been working out of this spot for a good while and have seen the colony change quite a bit as more people move into Pune. We keep a regular schedule but construction work often means staying late to make sure everything is ready for the next day. There is no big receptionist at the front, just a door you can walk through. We have a small table where we sit and go over the plans with the contractors and the workers. It is honest work and it can be quite tiring during the summer months when the sun is really hitting the road outside. We drink a lot of water and try to stay organized with our folders and ledgers. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on getting the buildings up properly and moving on to the next task. It is a simple setup but it works for us.
