Dhvani Welfare Association

We operate out of Flat B901 at The Park in Balewadi. It’s right across from the Elite Empire building on Sn 51/2+51/3. Being on the ninth floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding area, though there is a lot of construction happening in this part of Pune lately. The office for Dhvani Welfare Association is really just our apartment space that we use for all our coordination. We have a few desks set up in the main room and a lot of shelving for our files. It’s a busy place during the week. We try to keep things organized, but with so much going on, there’s usually a bit of a mess of papers somewhere. The Balewadi area is growing fast, so there are always new people moving in. We like being in the 411045 zip code because it is well-connected to the rest of the city. We don't have any big corporate signs out front. If you came to visit, you would just see a regular door in a residential hallway. That’s how we prefer it. It keeps our overhead low and lets us focus on the work itself. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on our laptops. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty, but we deal with it. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of workplace where a few dedicated people spend their time. We just stay focused on the tasks we have each morning.
