Master Metrology

Master Metrology is located over at Shiv Sai Indl. Estate on Dsk Vishwa Road in Dhayari. We spend most of our days here in Pune looking at precision instruments and making sure things measure out correctly. It is a bit of a trek to get out to this part of the city sometimes because of the traffic on the main road, but we have been here for a good while. The workshop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial spot where we keep our tools and setups. We deal with various gauges and micrometers, checking them against standards because that is just what the work requires. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of tea and checking the schedule for what needs to be calibrated. Some days are busier than others, especially when a lot of local shops send their equipment in all at once. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they are nearby in the Dhayari area. The space gets a bit dusty being near the road, so we have to keep the inside pretty clean for the instruments. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly just focusing on the numbers and making sure the scales are right. There are a few of us here who have been doing this for years, so we know our way around the different brands and types of measuring tools that come through the door.
