Dhanori-Alandi Foundation

Our place is on Paud Road, right near Prashant Society. It’s a busy area in Pune, and the Dhanori-Alandi Foundation is located in New Ajanta Avenue, flat number 28/3. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have everyone over at once. We aren't a big, slick organization. It’s mostly just us working from this apartment. We deal with a lot of stuff related to the local area, especially things between Dhanori and Alandi. We chose this location because it’s easy for us to get around from here, even with the traffic on Paud Road. It’s not a corporate office. There are stacks of paper on the desks and the tea kettle is always going. We don't have a professional writer to do our descriptions, so this is just us telling it like it is. We do a bit of everything. One day we’re helping with local schools and the next we’re looking at road issues. It’s very hands-on and not at all polished. We don’t have a big budget for advertising, so we just rely on people knowing who we are. It’s been a few years now, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture in the building. Folks drop by to say hello or to ask for advice. We don't have all the answers, but we try to help out where we can. It’s just us trying to stay busy and do something useful with our time.
