Our office is over at LIC Colony, specifically at R9, 154/44/3. It’s actually at Pandurang Basawant Patil’s place. We aren't in a big commercial building with glass walls. It's a more personal setup. Being in the colony makes it easy for the local residents to reach us without going into the main city traffic. We focus on being a Nidhi company, which means we mostly deal with our members' savings. People come by to drop off a bit of money every month or to ask about a small loan for their house or business. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest around, just reliable for the people living nearby. Sometimes the paperwork takes a minute because we want to get the numbers exactly right. Living and working in the same area means we see our members at the market or on the street. It keeps us honest. The colony is usually quiet, which is nice for sitting down and going over the accounts. We don't use a lot of technical words. If someone has a question about their account, we just explain it plainly. That’s how we like to run things here. No stress, just straightforward financial help for the neighborhood. We've been here for a while and plan to stay as long as the neighbors need us to help keep their savings safe.
