Dapodi is a busy part of Pune and we like being in the middle of it all. Our days usually start early with a lot of noise and planning for whichever site we are working on at the moment. There’s no big glass office or fancy reception area here, just a few desks and a lot of samples of tiles and stones scattered around. We have a small team that works like a family. We eat our lunch together most days and complain about the traffic on the way to the site. Construction work in Pune can be a bit of a headache with all the permits and the narrow streets, but we manage somehow. We have a lot of regulars who come back to us because we have been around so long. We don't do much advertising, mostly people just hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. The Malhar Nivas office is usually quiet in the afternoons when everyone is out on the field. It’s a practical way to run a business and it works for us. We don't have a lot of big words to describe what we do, we just build things and hope they stay up for a long time. We plan to keep at it as long as we can.
