Design Genesis

If you're looking for Design Genesis, we are right above the McDonald’s in Warje. Our office is number 404 in the Wall Street 24 building. It’s a pretty easy landmark to give people when they are trying to find us for the first time. We've been in this part of Pune for some time now. It’s a lively spot with a lot going on downstairs, which can be a bit distracting. Our day-to-day usually involves a lot of back-and-forth about plans and how things are going to actually look once they're built on the ground. We aren't really into the fancy corporate talk or big marketing pitches. We just show up, do the work, and try to get things right. The office isn't massive, but it has enough room for all our stuff and the people we work with. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy from the street traffic, but that’s just how it is in Warje. We handle a variety of tasks, mostly focusing on the practical side of design. We spend a lot of time on our computers and sometimes out at dusty sites. It’s not always glamorous work. There’s a lot of checking and re-checking involved in every set of plans we finish. We’ve grown to know the local area quite well. People drop by, and we talk through whatever they need for their space. It’s a simple setup. We prefer it that way because it keeps the focus on what we are doing.
