Design Evolution Lab

We've been working out of this spot in Kondhwa Khurd for a while now. It’s on the first floor of Buzzbay Commercial, right at Office 126. It’s a busy area in Pune, with lots of traffic and people moving around all day. Most of our days are spent at our desks or talking through sketches. Design Evolution Lab started because we just liked making things and solving space problems. We aren't a big flashy firm with a lot of suits or fancy talk. Usually, you’ll find us with coffee mugs and a bunch of papers scattered around the tables. The office is in a good spot since it’s easy for folks to find us once they get to Sr No 29. We don't really do the whole big presentation thing unless it's absolutely needed for a permit. It's mostly just practical work and getting the lines right on the page. Sometimes the elevator is slow, but we make it work. We try to keep things straightforward here. If someone comes in with a project, we look at the site, figure out what's actually possible, and just get to it. There isn't a lot of mystery to how we operate. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years. Being in this part of Pune keeps us pretty busy. We just focus on the drawings and making sure the measurements are right. It’s a small team, so everyone knows what’s going on with every project. We don't have a fancy lobby. Just a workspace where the work happens.
