My name is Vishal Surykant Pawar and I run the stone crusher here. We are located in the 411 015 area. This business is mostly about grit and dust. We spend our days crushing large stones into smaller ones and getting sand ready for people to use in their building projects. It is a very loud place to work, honestly. The machines run all day and you have to yell sometimes just to be heard over the noise. We don’t have a fancy front office with air conditioning. It is just the site, the piles of rock, and the equipment we use to break them down. Most of our customers are local builders who need a truckload of material for a foundation or a road. We just do our best to keep the supply moving. Sometimes the machines break down and everything stops for a few hours while we fix them. That is just how it goes with this kind of work. The weather plays a big part too. When it rains, the ground gets muddy and everything becomes a bit more difficult. We aren’t trying to be the biggest operation in the world. We just want to get through the day’s orders. People know where to find us if they need stone or sand. We’ve been at this for a while now and the neighborhood has seen a lot of changes. We just keep our heads down and keep the crusher going.
