Deccan Hardware Stores

We've been running Deccan Hardware Stores for a long time now. The shop is tucked into Bhori Ali in Raviwar Peth, specifically at 536. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here. It is not a fancy place by any means, just a regular shop filled with tools, nuts, bolts, and whatever else people need for their houses or projects. Sometimes it feels like there is not enough room for all the stock we keep, but we manage to find what someone is looking for most of the time. The shelves are high and the floors are usually covered in boxes that just arrived. People from all over Raviwar Peth stop by when they have a leak or need a specific screw. We are just local people trying to keep things moving. There is no air conditioning here, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. It is honest work and we like being part of the neighborhood. You might have to squeeze past a few crates to get to the counter, but that is the charm of Bhori Ali. Most of our regulars know us by name, and we recognize them too. We don't do much advertising, as word of mouth in the Peth keeps us going.
