Dcm Shriram Consolidated Limited, Fenesta Building Systems

You’ll find us at Flat No 9 in the Smita Apartment. It’s tucked away behind the Giga Space IT Park on Nagar Road. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for Dcm Shriram Consolidated Limited and Fenesta Building Systems because while the IT park is all glass and steel, we’re in a more traditional apartment building. It gives the place a bit of a homey feel, I guess. We have to be careful with the parking because it gets tight in Somnath Nagar. Inside, we’ve turned the flat into a working office. It’s got a kitchen where we make way too much tea and the living room area is where most of the desks are. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We handle a lot of the building systems stuff from here. It involves a lot of technical talk and looking at blueprints. We don't have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss us on their first visit. The vibe is pretty relaxed. We don't have strict rules about where you sit as long as the work gets done. Pune weather is usually nice enough that we keep the windows open. It beats being stuck in a sealed office building any day. We just try to stay organized amid all the samples and paperwork lying around the different rooms.
