Datta Headset Cutting & Turning Works

We are located right on the Main Road in Shivaji Nagar, not far from the Jangali Maharaj Mandir. You can usually hear the sound of the lathes before you see the sign. Datta Headset Cutting & Turning Works is basically a workshop where we spend all day at the machines. We do a lot of turning work and precision cutting for parts that go into headsets and other mechanical assemblies. It gets pretty loud in here with the metal hitting metal, and there’s always that smell of cutting oil in the air. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit now. The 365/18 address is easy to find if you’re looking for the temple nearby. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big office or anything, just the shop floor and some space to store the raw materials. People bring us drawings or sometimes just a broken part they need a copy of. We do our best to get the dimensions right, though sometimes it takes a couple of tries on the old machines. It’s manual work, mostly. My hands are usually stained with grease by lunchtime. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop front and a phone that rings when someone’s checking on an order. It’s just a place where we work hard and try to do right by the folks who trust us with their machining work. We stay busy from morning until late in the evening every day.
