Danobat Group Machine Tools (India) Ltd

Our place is located over at Aditya Breeze Park in the Baner Versova area. Danobat Group Machine Tools (India) Ltd is the name on the paperwork, but most of us just think of it as the shop. We work with machine tools, which basically means we spend our time around heavy metal and precision parts. It’s a specialized kind of work. The building itself is part of a larger complex, so it’s fairly modern compared to some of the older spots in town. We have a lot of equipment inside that does the heavy lifting. The floor is usually covered in a bit of metal shavings and oil, which is pretty standard for what we do. We aren’t really the type to wear ties or sit in long board meetings. Most of our time is spent looking at technical drawings or standing by the machines making sure everything is running the way it should. It’s a technical job, but we try to keep things grounded. We’ve had people working here for a long time who really know their way around a lathe or a grinder. We don’t make a big fuss about what we do. If a customer needs a machine fixed or a part made, we just get to it. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and we stay late, but that’s just part of the trade. It’s good work for people who like to see a physical result at the end of the day. It is hard work but we enjoy it.
