We’ve been based here at Laukik, number 870 on Bhandarkar Road, for a pretty long time now. It’s a familiar spot for us. Dani Data Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. isn't some massive corporate hub; it’s just our office where we handle the daily grind of data work. The street outside can get quite loud with all the traffic, especially during the rush hours, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional hum of the air conditioner. We have a small team here. Some of us have been around since the early days when the neighborhood looked a lot different than it does now. There’s a tea stall just down the road that we all seem to visit way too often. Our desks are usually cluttered with notes and old files because we haven't quite mastered the paperless office thing yet. The building itself is sturdy, though the elevator has its moments where it feels a bit temperamental. We don't really do the whole fancy lobby thing. You just come in, find us, and we talk about whatever needs doing. It’s a practical space for practical people. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders as long as the computers are running and the work is getting finished. It’s just how we operate. We show up, do the tasks, and head home to our families. It’s a decent way to earn a living.
