Dalal Laminates

We run Dalal Laminates over by Vakola Bridge 31 in Chinchwad. It’s a busy spot near the water. We deal mostly in laminate sheets for tables, counters, and doors. There are hundreds of different patterns and colors stacked up on our racks. It takes a while to go through them all. I usually help people pick something that won't look terrible in a few years. The shop floor is always a bit slippery from the dust. We’ve been at this location for a good chunk of time now. The building is older and the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, so we have to move the stock around. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We get orders from small shops and also individuals doing up their own kitchens. Chinchwad is a good area for this kind of trade. We don't do any big fancy displays. We just have the sample books and the actual sheets ready to go. Sometimes we stay late to finish an inventory count. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just a local business where we know most of our regular customers by their first names. We try to keep things simple and get people their orders on time. The kettle is usually on if the guys have a break.
