Dakani Adab Foundation

We've been based out of building Sn. 18 inside Nivedita Garden for a while now. It is right in Kondhwa Kd, just opposite Amba Vatika. If you are coming from the main road, you can't miss the garden. Suman Singh and Manoj Thakur helped set things up here in flat 302. It's not a huge place, just a regular flat where we keep our papers and do our work. Pune weather is usually nice, so we keep the balcony door open most mornings. The building is a bit older, but it's quiet enough for us to get things done. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we just take the stairs. It’s a bit of a climb to the third floor but good exercise. We have a few desks squeezed in there and a lot of tea. People often get lost looking for Sn. 18 because the numbering in Nivedita Garden can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We usually tell them to look for the big tree near the entrance. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small nameplate. It feels more like a home than an office, which is how we like it. We spend most of our days here answering calls and sorting through files. It’s a busy spot but it works for what we need to do.
