D R Bhawane Constructions has been in Bhosari, specifically the Field Ganj area, for a good while. If you know the neighborhood, you know it’s mostly industrial and gets pretty loud with all the machinery around. Our place isn't anything special to look at, just a practical office where we keep our tools and paperwork. I spend half my day out on the bikes going from one site to another. Being in construction means you're never really in one place for long. We do the basic stuff like masonry and small renovations. It’s me and a couple of guys I’ve known for years. We don't have a website or anything like that because we prefer talking to people face to face. It’s easier to explain things that way. Sometimes the supply of sand or cement gets tight and we have to scramble. That’s just part of the business in Bhosari. The dust here never really settles, but you get used to it. We take our lunches at the local stall down the street. It’s been our routine for as long as I can remember. The work is tough on the back, but it pays the bills. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in town, just reliable enough that people call us back when they need something else built. We’ve seen the roads around Field Ganj change quite a bit lately. It’s a hard-working place and we fit right in.
