Our place is over at S No 1089 on Shivaji Road, which is right near Swargate. If you are familiar with Shukrawar Peth, you know it’s a tight area with lots of history and small businesses packed together. We do engineering work here, which mostly means we are surrounded by metal scraps and old machines. It isn't a quiet neighborhood. You hear the noise of the city and the sound of tools all day long. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular space where we handle different technical jobs. Sometimes it gets quite crowded inside when we have a few projects going on at once. We’ve been around this part of the city for a long time. People usually find us just by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in the Peth. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. We just focus on the drawings and the lathe machines. It gets dusty, and the floor is never really clean, no matter how much we sweep. That is just how an engineering shop is. We deal with all sorts of small parts and mechanical stuff that people bring in. It's steady work, and we like being close to Swargate because everything is accessible from here. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple way of doing things. We might have grease on our shirts, but we know how to fix a machine.
