D J Associates is located at number 15 in Vadgaon Budruk. It’s a residential area that has become more active lately. Our office is part of the ground floor of a building there. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads. We focus on general consulting and help with local paperwork. My brother and I started this because we wanted to work close to home. It’s a small space, just enough for two desks and a place for guests to sit. We don't have fancy decorations or a big sign. Most of our clients are people from the nearby apartments or small shop owners in Vadgaon. We keep things very casual. If you come by, we might be having tea or chatting with a neighbor. But we get the work done. Dealing with local authorities and forms can be a real pain for people, so they come to us. We’ve learned everything by doing it ourselves over the years. We don't pretend to be a big city firm. We are just local guys helping out. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside until it comes back. It’s a relaxed way to run a business. We know most of the people who walk by every day. We’ve been at this location for a few years and have no plans to move. It’s a good spot and the rent is fair. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized.
