D. Haridas & Company is over in Maharshinagar at No. 37 / 297. We are pretty easy to find because we are near Zambre Palace and right across from the Maharshi Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal. This part of Pune has a lot of tradition and we have been part of it for a long time. Our office is a bit old-fashioned and we like it that way. We don't have the modern glass and steel look of the new IT parks. It’s a solid building with lots of shelves and old cabinets for our records. The area gets very lively during the festival season, especially with the Ganesh Mandal right there. Sometimes it’s hard to get a vehicle right to the door when things are crowded. We have a small group of people working here and many of them have been with us for decades. We know our regulars by name and don't need much in the way of formal systems. It’s a relaxed atmosphere even when we are busy with orders. We don't use any fancy sales talk or try to impress people with big presentations. We just sit down, have a glass of water, and talk about what needs to be done. It’s a very traditional way of doing business in a neighborhood we really care about. We just do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day.
