Cummins Inndia Ltd

Our office is tucked away at 42-B in the Nityanand Housing Society, located in the Dhankawadi area of Pune. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get through some of the side streets to reach us, but it’s a nice, lived-in neighborhood. The society itself is quite old, and our unit is basically a house that we use for business for Cummins Inndia Ltd. It feels very personal because of that. We don't have a big corporate lobby; you just walk up to the door and knock. Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. There are plenty of books and files scattered around, and the kitchen serves as our break room where the kettle is always on. Dhankawadi is a very busy part of town with a lot of students and families, so there is a lot of energy outside. We have a small patch of garden out front that someone tries to look after, though the plants don't always survive the summer heat. The work we do here is mostly routine, keeping track of accounts and managing schedules. We don't have fancy office furniture, just what we need to get by. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the neighbor’s television or someone washing their car while you’re on a phone call. It’s not a polished corporate environment, but it suits us just fine. We appreciate the simplicity of working in a residential area where things feel a bit more human.
