Ctai Foundation

We work out of Flat 01 in Aviva Apartments, which is located on Lane 3 of Prabhat Road. It’s a nice, quiet part of Erandwana, though finding the right lane can be a bit tricky if you aren't from around here. Ctai Foundation is a pretty small setup. We’ve basically converted a residential flat into an office space. It’s got a kitchen where we make our own lunch and a balcony where we sometimes sit to get away from our screens for a bit. We aren't some massive organization with branches everywhere. It’s just us here, trying to work on things that matter to the local community. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and books, but we know where everything is. We don’t use corporate jargon or have long meetings that go nowhere. We just talk about what needs to be done over a cup of coffee and then we get to it. Some days are quiet, and other days it feels like the phone never stops ringing with people asking questions. We like the neighborhood because it’s calm and has a lot of trees along the streets. It helps us stay focused. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door to let people know they’re in the right place. We’re just regular people doing our best from a small flat in Pune, and that suits us just fine.
